A funny animated movie based on the classic Czech tales and legend of a young clockmaker, and his jealous friend, a wisecracking Goat.

The plot begins in the Soviet Union showing first efforts to establish the Czechoslovak legion in 1942. The film also shows the assassination of Heydrich and the subsequent annihilation of Lidice. The main topis of the film is battles with German troops for Sokolovo.

On her journey she meets many characters. Some of them are comic, others are rather tragicomic. A special story about love, dance, and immortality takes place in the late 1940s. A young man, dance master Mayer, arrives at a pulmonary sanatorium. His diagnosis is serious—tuberculosis. However, he does not give in to his illness and begins to actively fight it with dance and optimism. Gradually, he wins over other patients who had previously resigned themselves to their fate. The distressing fate of the Czech great Jan Amos Komenský, forced to leave his homeland after the White Mountain disaster. It depicts his encounters with various European personalities of the 17th century - the Queen of Sweden, artists and scientists. It emphasises the hero's nobility, but also his inner resilience, which allowed him to overcome many personal and professional tragedies. The parable of The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart becomes part of the story. However, Comenius's concept is sculpturally lifeless and, in particular, the religious dimension is "erased" from it. The simplistic biography therefore does not avoid schoolboyish dryness.

This fairy tale tells the story of the domineering and envious Meluzína, who wants to steal her younger sister's fiancé. But even with the help of a witch, she fails to achieve her goal, although her fiancé faces a difficult test of separation. He passes the test, and to this day, Meluzína cries into the chimney at Kumburk Castle, regretting her actions.
