Yang Kun

The story follows a child bride turned widow, Dou E, who is wrongly convicted of crimes by a corrupt court official for actions perpetrated by a rejected suitor, Mule Zhang. After her execution, three prophesied phenomena occur to prove her innocence, including blood raining from the sky, snow in June and a three-year drought. After a visit from the ghost of Dou E, her father eventually brings the corrupt court official, a doctor and Mule Zhang to justice, thereby vindicating his daughter.

Mystery novelist Liu Feiyun (played by Su Youpeng) is invited to join his friend Dong Lei's (played by Yang Kun) luxury honeymoon cruise. During the day, on the cruise ship, beautiful ladies, wine, blue sea, and white clouds are like a paradise far away from the world; at night, there are masquerade parties, ambiguous flirting and playing, and carnival all night. However, under this glamorous luxury, there is an ulterior dark conspiracy lurking.

In the last boxing match before his retirement, TAN Kai accidentally beats his teammate WANG Yao to death. WANG's heart is donated to a young girl, LI Chuan. Guilt-ridden, TAN Kai decides to meet LI Chuan and they slowly develop a friendship. Suddenly LI Chuan's body is starting to reject WANG's donated heart and a new surgery is very expensive. To pay for his sins and the surgery, TAN Kai must put his boxing gloves back on one more time.

Produced by Crazy Racer director Ning Hao, Lethal Hostage revolves around a drug dealer who falls in love with his hostage and decides to quit the business following one final deal.
