Kerr dedicated this short to Renee Falconetti, the great star of Dreyer's "The Passion of Joan of Arc," whose closeups brought the character played by Anna Karina to tears in a wonderful scene in Godard's 1962 film "Vivre Sa Vie."

Six roommates share a cramped four bedroom apartment. One moves out. Another moves in. In the process, the precarious balance of their routines is comically disrupted.
