Mehri and Keyvan spend their holidays in Bandar with their parents. Mehri falls in love with a young man named Hemet, and Keyvan falls in love with Hemet's sister (Zinet). Nemat gets into a fight with him over Setare and ends up in prison with Jasem's shoes. In Nemat's absence, Setare, out of fear of Jasem, goes to the desert with "Tuba" (Nemat's sister who was raped by Jasem). When Nemat returns, when Jasem spreads rumors against Setare, Touba, who hates Jasem deeply, kills him in a fight and goes to prison herself. Nemat and Setare also start a simple life.

A gypsy woman named Setareh, after being rejected from home, leaves her young son Ali next to a house and runs away. Farrash-bashi (School Janitor) finds Ali and takes him to his workplace, which is a busy elementary school, and takes care of him with the help of school children.
