Tove dreams that she is walking around a desolate place. Behind her is a dark companion and in front of her is a group of walking sticks dancing and flirting.

The year is 1974 and the toddler mother Diana's marriage is problematic. Then a friendly man shows up in Diana's dreams. She falls in love with him and, most of all, just wants to keep on sleeping.
