In the 60's, the British Invasion sparked a cultural change in rock 'n' roll and America fights back. Hosts Michelle Phillips and Graham Nash chronicle cutting edge performances on The Ed Sullivan Show and interviews from the musicians themselves.

This nostalgic retrospective with colleagues and friends of the Beatles fondly recalls Paul McCartney's simple plan for the "Magical Mystery Tour" movie: to let assorted odd characters climb aboard a bus, then film their adventures. The 1967 movie was a cinematic flop, but Keith McCartney (Paul's brother) and other insiders reveal the excitement and camaraderie in those salad days before tensions within the Fab Four began to split them apart.

Unbeknownst to the Spencer Davis Group, their manager is upper class, grew up in a haunted manor, and is called Algernon. When they visit his home, they find out that the family is broke, they don't have the money to pay the servants, and their home is going to ruin. Spencer suggests that they advertise the home (and the ghost) and charge admission.
