# The Story The story begins in a remote village whose community lives in harmony like one big family. Regardless of their race, they all help and respect one another. On the day they receive the arrival of a dome for their small mosque (collected from all the villagers), they also receive the arrival of a woman, Dara, who previously worked there. All the villagers' attention is directed towards a young man named Wadud, whom they all know had once been in love with that woman. The epic love story between the two of them now becomes the talk of the entire village. From the young to the old, each tells about this epic love story. However, they still cannot find the answer to why Wadud and Dara separated. Seeds of conflict begin to emerge among the villagers as each one maintains their own answer about the separation of this epic love affair. The village chief begins to realize the situation among the villagers. An emergency meeting is held to resolve the issue.

John, the janitor, has a pet monkey that accompanies him on his different jobs. Because of the monkey's wonderful ability, John is given a post of janitor in one of the large hotels.

Archie, a man well past the age of forty-five proposes to Mildred, a young and pretty girl and is rejected. Fred, her youthful lover then enters and does the same thing and is accepted. As Fred leaves the house, it is very windy and a young lady passing by gets some dust in her eyes. He tries to assist and from Mildred's window it appears that he is embracing he young lady.

New England fisherman Dan McQuade finds a dying woman and her daughter shipwrecked after a storm and raises the daughter, whom he names Coral. After Dan reveals how he found her, Coral, who secretly builds sand sculptures, creates a life-size statue of a mother and baby. Wealthy artist Philip Norton and his self-centered bride Helen come on their honeymoon to the bay where Dan and Coral live. Coral, awed by Philip's talent, gives him a statue and they begin a friendship, which provokes Helen's jealousy. When Dan dies, Philip brings Coral to his parents' home in New York, where Helen plots to have her suspected of stealing a diamond.
