Tansulpan Babicheva

A romantic story based on the Ural fairytales. The chiefs of two brotherly peoples living in the lands of the Southern Urals had a son - the rich man Altynduga and a daughter - the beautiful Ai. One day they met and fell in love with each other. Meanwhile, the ruler of the kingdom of evil, Katil-Badtsha, and the insidious sorceress Myasekai quarreled their peoples by cunning and deceit in order to rob and enslave them. So the lovers were separated.

The film is dedicated to the people's poet of the Republic of Bashkortostan Rami Garipov, who lived a bright fate and was persecuted for protecting the poet's right to create in his native language. The picture shows the pages of the poet's life and work during the period from 1941 to 1977.

On one May day in 1864, N. G. Chernyshevsky, a writer and revolutionary democrat, was declared a state criminal and sentenced to hard labor in Siberian mines.
