Documentary that gathers the testimonies of more than twenty contemporary Argentine film directors. Through interviews, filmmakers from different generations and tendencies reflect on the craft of directing, creative difficulties, and the challenges of the local industry. The diversity of voices ranges from established figures to representatives of the new Argentine cinema, offering a panorama of the different ways of conceiving and practicing filmmaking.

Shot almost in its entirety in the corridors of the Villa 21, one of Buenas Aires' most well-known shanty-towns, Estrellas (Stars) revolves around the work of Julio Arrieta, who is both a theatre director and is responsible for providing shooting locations for those directores wishing to film in an Argentine ghetto.

Her parents split up before she was one year old and today, like many separated couples, they are brought back together under the same roof only because they don’t have a decent job. Cristina, her mother, rents a part of the house to her ex-husband for a bit of extra money. “Francia” talks about those people who will never travel far from their home, where they take refuge, for good or bad, from all disgusting things in the outside world. Meanwhile, Mariana puts on her headphones when she hears her parents fighting. Those fights which now serve as a relief to the helpless.

He travels from Buenos Aires to Lapachito, a decrepit town in the province of Chaco in northern Argentina to deal with their bodies and to get the life insurance money. There he meets Duarte, a sort of boss in the town and a friend of his mother's murderer who also kidnaps people for money. Cetarti's path will lead him to committing illegal acts to get his hands on the insurance money and to his involvement in Duarte's dark dealings, leading to an absurd and unexpected outcome.

The first version of the documentary produced by the Peronist militants Chino Navarro and Topo Devoto, which focuses on the figure of the former President Néstor Kirchner with archival images. This version was rejected by its producers, who commissioned a new one from the director Paula de Luque, which was the one that premiered in Argentine theaters. But a copy of Caetano's work was leaked online, and after his viewing by President Cristina Fernández it was decided that his post-production and subsequent dissemination will be completed.

Reading it merely as a vampire story reaffirms this metaphor: out of our ignorance, we despise what conquers us, only for it to conquer us again without hesitation, with morality and good manners on its side.
