Iain Stirling is a Scottish comedian, writer, television presenter, and narrator, born on 27 January 1988 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He began performing stand-up comedy while studying law at the University of Edinburgh, becoming a finalist in the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year competition. He started his television career on CBBC, later co-writing and hosting the panel show The Dog Ate My Homework. Since June 2015, Stirling has narrated ITV2's Love Island, and he took on narration duties for Love Island USA in 2022. He has also hosted the game show CelebAbility, competed on Taskmaster, and appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox and Celebrity MasterChef. Stirling has written and starred in the ITV2 sitcom Buffering and published a book, Not Ready to Adult Yet, in 2018.
