A couple visits the property of their origins where the houses of the relatives living abroad are now standing. These relatives visit once a year for five days. They are the only visitors of these houses during the year.

When Iva was a little girl, she was a believer. As an adult, she added the D to her name to become D-Iva, a pure product of the star system. Offered to and adored by her trance-like audience as a modern golden calf, D-Iva realizes that her childhood dream has turned into a nightmare.

The film follows a group of convicts serving sentences in the Belgrade District Prison. With thoughts focused on their wives and children, convicts reconsider their decisions as they dream of freedom and reunion with their families.

The film director searches for Gorčin, the protagonist of his film, with the help of his friend Dragan. Their journey takes them to Gorčin’s ancestral village, where they get lost in isolated hamlets, transforming the quest into an allegorical journey into the unknown.
