Destination Docklands was an event consisting of two concerts by musician Jean Michel Jarre on the Royal Victoria Docks, Docklands, London on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th October 1988, to coincide with the release of Jarre's new album Revolutions. From Paris to Malmo, from London to Baltimore, the film follows their encounters with exceptional musicians (Matthew Herbert, Chassol, Matmos, Jean Michel Jarre, Blixa Bargeld or Cosmo Sheldrake) from very different backgrounds and genres. Integrating the sounds from their journey into exciting musical scenes, KIZ playfully show us how the world can be turned into a limitless music instrument.

Focused on the life of the band and their collaborators over the 3 vital years in which they developed critically acclaimed albums, 'Humanz' and 'The Now Now', and undertook their most ambitious world tour to date.

As part of the Oxygene 30th Anniversary Tour, Jean Michel Jarre performed 10 Oxygene concerts in Paris, from December 12 to December 26, 2007. The concerts took place at the Théâtre Marigny, a small, 1000 seats theater located in the Champs-Élysées.

Ten young people (six boys and four girls), most of whom students, rent a house in bad repair and set about living together. The experience is not obvious and the ten tenants have to cope with more than one difficulty. But they also have their moments. Things really go awry when Françoise, an unmarried girl, is forced to deliver the baby she carries prematurely and when Solange, the lonely girl of the group, attempts suicide. Shortly afterwards, the group learns that the house is due for demolition. They decide to take advantage of this opportunity to face adult life individually.

Staged as the opening event of the seventh edition of STARMUS Festival and supported by ESET Digital Security, ‘Bridge From The Future’ was Jarre’s most ambitious live production to date. A sweeping sci-fi soundscape with stunning visual storytelling, choreographed light and laser displays, a 400-drone ballet, fireworks, and an architectural stage, designed by Jarre, that framed the iconic UFO Bridge with twin 30-metre towers. The concert also marked an historic first-time collaboration between Jarre and Queen guitarist Sir Brian May, who joined him on stage for a powerful new arrangement of Dvořák’s ‘New World Symphony’ as well as newly adapted works ‘Bratislava Time’ and ‘Rendez-vous Bratislava’. Jarre was accompanied by longtime collaborator Claude Samard and rising British artist Adiescar Chase, with contributions from the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and a 19-piece chorus from the Slovak Philharmonic Choir.

Port Hercules, completely transformed into a stage for the evening, will provide the setting for the artist, who has created this unique concert for Monaco, specifically for the Royal Wedding. Monaco will provide the backdrop for a dazzling evening. The concert was not part of the tour he's doing and distinguishes itself for having totally different visuals and a different setlist, although most of the setlist of the concert did share similarities with the indoor tour.

October 5th, at 10.30 pm , after pope John-Paul II`s blessing of Lyon from the top of Fourvieres hill, Rendez-Vous Lyon got under way, a concert performed for more than 800,000 people on the banks of the river Saone. Fourvieres hill was ablaze for ninety minutes, fired on by cannons of light, fireworks and images synchronised to music being performed live on the central stage by Jean-Michel Jarre, 60 musicians and 120 choristers. A baroque feast, blending classical and avant-garde, workmanship and high-tech, past and future, Rendez-Vous Lyon will long be remembered as an exceptional event.

Since his first album, French musician Sébastien Tellier never ceased to surprise, amuse, and even bother; all without getting lost along the way. The constantly renewed authenticity of his musical universe is still one of the strongest in contemporary pop scene.

Jarre gave two charity concerts in June 2001 at the Herodion Atticus amphitheatre next to the Acropolis in Athens, for Elpida, a foundation to help children with cancer.

"Water for Life" was a concert given by French electronic musician Jean Michel Jarre on the night of December 16, 2006 amidst the dunes of the Sahara desert at Merzouga, Morocco. The concert was held under the auspice of UNESCO as 2006 had been designated the International Year of Deserts and Desertification by the United Nations General Assembly. The concert was an end of an era in a way, due to the fact that this was the last time Jarre performed live with the simplified keyboards and synths he'd been using from the Aero concerts onwards. After this live event, Jarre began to re-integrate the original synthesizers from the Oxygene era into his latest shows, such as the Oxygene tours and the "In-Doors" arena concerts.

Jean-Michel Jarre performed an exceptional one-off live concert event, Bridge from the Future, the opening event of STARMUS Festival. In association with ESET Digital Security, the electronic music pioneer performed live at Incheba Bratislava, Slovakia on May 12, 2024 - against the stunning backdrop of the Most SNP (UFO) Bridge. He was joined on stage by special guest Brian May. The concert was in cooperation with the City of Bratislava and is free to attend.
