Torje Hanssen

Torje Hanssen (born 14 July 1997) is a Norwegian musician and survivor of the 2011 attacks on Utøya. He was 14 years old when he attended the Workers' Youth League (AUF) summer camp on the island, where he was separated from his older brother, Viljar, after the attack began. Hanssen escaped from the island and was rescued by a boat. He later studied music production and has spoken publicly about his experiences. He appeared as himself in Carl Javér's 2018 documentary Reconstructing Utøya and has participated in several documentaries and interviews concerning the attacks. Hanssen was portrayed by Isak Bakli Aglen in Paul Greengrass's 2018 film 22 July.
