The fate of Ondrej Horniak, a young civil engineer, who after graduating starts working in a construction company as a deputy construction manager on a large construction site. Here he encounters all the ills of socialist construction - sloppiness, corruption, careerism, irresponsibility. After an accident at a construction site, for which the perpetrators face prison, his superiors want to put all the blame on the young engineer Horniak.

The heroes of the story are animals and it takes place in the environment of a stunt farm. Victoria, a young and talented mare, is brought here just as the farm's existence is beginning to be threatened. She can only be saved by the outstanding performance of the animals at an audition for an upcoming film. Smart Victoria, who finds everything she learns engaging and fun, makes new friends on the farm. But she also encounters envy, cowardice and hostility from competitors, as well as people who threaten the farm. The animal inhabitants of the farm, regardless of race, must join forces, overcoming many dangers and adventurous peripetias to help their friends - the stuntmen.

He tries to help her, but indirectly becomes addicted too, because he first starts stealing from home for her drugs, then starts dealing and loses his judgment, just to provide her with drugs. His love for a girl who can't stop being an addict ultimately costs him his own life.

The tragicomedy of a man who, by inappropriately attending the wedding of his subordinate, wants to demonstrate humanistic thinking in a society that is not ripe for such ideas. However, it turns out that even for him humanism is just a declared empty concept, serving to gain popularity. A story of a family that after WWII moved to the south of Slovakia and acquired a prosperous butcher business left behind by a Hungarian emigrant. From the previous owner, the family also inherited a self-assured, greedy assistant who does not like to observe any firm moral principles. He assists the family in gaining wealth but in the long run, he causes the family's moral dissolution. In his most successful feature film, director Zoro Záhon combined a complex drama with excellent acting performances, especially that of Hungarian actor Gábor Koncz in the lead role.
