A psychological drama of a high-profile family in the 1920s. András Erdély, the son of an influential MP, is placed in a psychiatric sanatorium to escape punishment for the murder of his wife. Through his memories and intimate confessions, the viewer gets to know the atmosphere of the house ruled by his despotic father, the son's journey from "better society" to a social career and uncovers the secret of his sexual deviations, everything that led András, a mentally disturbed man, to crime. The story of love, morbid passion and hatred is also a questioning of the roots of evil in man, of responsibility for one's own actions and of the limits of tolerance and medical ethics.

Who would not remember the impressive robust acting of one of the most outstanding artists of the middle acting generation, a representative of many remarkable characters in which masculine strength dramatically met with the fragility of human feelings? Vlado Muller - a strong human individuality, a suggestive voice, an imposing appearance and an inimitable ability to touch the depths of the human soul, the seriousness of moral dilemmas, sovereignty and weakness. In the current play The Guy Nicknamed Brumteles by screenwriter Peter Ševčovič and director Franek Chmiel, Vlado Muller manages to use the breadth of his talent and ability to extremely sensitively depict the fate of a person whose active life changes in an instant to forced passivity. It is the story of an aging deputy of a large company who, after several heart attacks, is forced to retire early and a little boy who is having a hard time experiencing his mother's relationship with a new man.

An unconventionally seen story from the period of the Slovak National Uprising will especially interest you with the character of the village lad and brawler Vince Kucek, played by Ivan Romančík. Hours and hours spent in the pub, riots with friends, scenes of jealousy towards his old rival Petr Chuťek, now a partisan commander, hostile memories of the strict teacher Machoň – all this fills the seemingly carefree days of the self-confident farmer, father of two small children, husband of the faithful, devoted Eva. However, the situation in the village is getting worse. Some of the men go to fight in the mountains, but the stubborn Kucek refuses to go with them.

A two-part TV drama about the life and work of Jozef Murgaš, a world-renowned inventor, talented painter, and Slovak patriot. The first part focuses mainly on his life in Slovakia and describes Murgaš's student years. He leaves the picturesque surroundings of his native Tajov to attend high school in Banská Bystrica and later, at his mother's request, continues his studies in theology at the Esztergom Seminary. However, his studies did not end with graduation from this faculty. His love of painting was stronger and led him first to a one-year art preparatory course in Budapest and then to the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. However, he was unable to complete his studies due to brutal intervention by the authorities. The second part depicts Murgaš's life in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in the United States.
