At 40, Molina is the most famous radio host in France: she hosts a nightly call-in show where she answers questions from callers with sexual and emotional problems. When she decides to look for her mother whom she never knew, she discovers her living in the suburbs.

Although barely 30, Claire believes she is showing the first symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, a condition from which her mother has recently died. Her sister, Nathalie, is certain that her memory loss, caused by a lightning strike, is temporary. In the clinic where she is being treated, Claire is attracted to Philippe, a man who is still traumatized after a car accident in which his wife and child were both killed. In spite of their personal tragedies, Claire and Philippe fall in love. When Philippe recovers, Claire moves into his home. Then Claire's condition takes a turn for the worse.

Camille arrives in Ouessant, the island of her birth off the Brittany coast, to sell the family home. She spends a last night in the house during which she discovers a secret. In 1963 a man came to work with her father, who was the Jument lighthouse operator. He only stayed two months, but his presence proved to be a disturbing catalyst.

Isabelle Nanty is a Paris concierge, four children to look after and a fifth in gestation with a loutish and uncaring husband who runs off with the girlfried of one of the lodgers in her building. A poor but ambitious young man arrives in Paris and settles down in the boarding house run by Madame Vauquer. He soon gets to know the guests: Victorine Taillefer, a young lady her rich father refuses to recognize; Horace Bianchon, a medical student; Monsieur Vautrin, a mysterious and disconcerting man; Goriot, a rich merchant who spent all his fortune for his daughters, Delphine and Anastasie, to make a rich marriage. Eugène becomes friends with Goriot but while the former, thanks to his cousin Madame de Beauséant, is introduced in high society, Goriot, both exploited and scoffed at by his daughters, continues his descent into hell.

The film follows Etienne, a 40-year-old car designer, who takes time off from work to study sexual mastery from a Zen master and several prostitutes, in the hopes of having the sexual skill to impress Laure. Laure, a blonde who was introduced to him by his friend Jacques, told Etienne on January 1 that she will not have sex with him until May 27 that year at precisely 9 PM.

Félix, operator of dodgem cars in a fairground, becomes obsessed by one of his customers, a mysterious young woman named Lola. Félix soon discovers that Lola is running away from her former boyfriend, a singer who continues to taunt her. Lola asks Félix to prove his love for her by murdering a man he does not know...

Charlotte, an alienated sound engineer, travels to the country home where her mother was just murdered. She is quickly frustrated by the lack of progress in the police investigation and so begins her own. While listening to a fresh sound recording she made in her mother's house, Charlotte discovers a strange phenomenon, she can hear sounds from the past in her headphones. Soon she is using this ability to hear the past to piece together the last few days of her mother's life, drawing ever closer to discovering who killed her, even as the murderer returns to try and eliminate Charlotte before they are discovered.

Sandrine, a former fashion designer who is unemployed, is now working in a garment factory as a worker. There she meets Mathieu, the company's human resources manager and a former childhood sweetheart. The two of them get closer, but their relationship is hampered by the economic crisis that is catching up with the company... The employees then decide to join forces to buy the company by creating a clothing line, "Les P'tits Lutins", for which Sandrine is, of course, asked to contribute. However, the situation turns out to be tense. How will Mathieu react to these new directions?

Marie returns to live in La Rochelle, the city of her childhood, with her husband Marc, a policeman, and meets Nadia. The two young women scour the city's stores, looking for a red sofa. They soon discover one in the store of Maxime, a second-hand dealer. A few days later, Nadia seems tormented when Marie mentions the sofa. During a visit, Marie discovers Nadia's lifeless body.

This French romantic comedy-drama concerns Claude Langmann, a middle-aged auctioneer, who is in a loving marriage with his second wife of 15 years. Though he is deeply in love with his wife and has remained faithful to her, he finds himself unable to perform in bed. His wife says she is satisfied with Claude's love and tenderness, but he visits a sex specialist anyway. There he learns of Viagra, which is not yet approved in France, though it is available in Switzerland over the counter. Soon Claude is on his way to Geneva, and eager to prove his manhood, tries to bed Agnes, his very attractive and very available assistant. His daughter, who also comes along for the trip, interferes with her own problems.
