He turned 70 in March and then in May he performed his 200th concert at London's famous Royal Albert Hall fifty years after his first performance there with The Yardbirds. Eric Clapton and His Band are wrapping up their 2013 concerts this week with two shows in Basel, Switzerland. The shows are part of the “Baloise Sessions” indoor concert series and happen at the Event Halle in Basel. In front of 1,500 people, Eric and his band peformed a 20-song set on 13 November, including five songs in memory of JJ Cale

Original band member of 80’s pop legends Mike and The Mechanics, Paul Carrack, celebrates the production of Panasonic’s first ‘end-to-end’ 3D Blu-ray disc with a signing of his latest album at Panasonic’s UK head office in Bracknell, Berkshire. Originally commissioned and filmed by Panasonic at Air Studio’s in London, the 3D Blu-ray disc is the industry’s first live studio recording in 3D. The session performed by Paul Carrack was filmed in 3D on Panasonic Broadcast cameras, authored at Panasonic’s Hollywood Laboratory and is now available on 3D Blu-ray disc, demonstrating Panasonic’s complete end-to-end 3D solution.

Band Du Lac is an all-star supergroup brought together to play occasional charity concerts, this particular one being staged at the historic Wintershall Estate in Surrey, England in aid of HASTE (Heart And Stroke Trust Endeavour).
