A kid who wants to enter his car in the drag races joins a rock band to make enough money to do it.

A young postman, who fronts a pop group, dreams of being bigger than The Beatles. They record a demo tape, but things seem to be going pear shaped when he loses the tape. There is also his father to contend with who thinks he's wasting his time with all that pop music nonsense.

This documentary shows the revival of British rock n' roll as it follows a weekend pilgrimage of Teddy Boys, Rockabilly Rebels and Rockers. Bands performing include Bill Haley and the Comets, Crazy Cavan & the Rhythm Rockers, Matchbox, Flying Saucers, Freddie Fingers Lee, Ray Campi and his Rockabilly Rebels.

To date, we've seen the same footage of Gene Vincent and other early stars of rock 'n roll over and over again. It seemed as though there wasn't much...and we'd seen it all.
