Théo Deliyannis

The Jeu de Paume in Paris (France) presented an Oscar Muñoz exhibition from June 3 to September 21, 2014. On the occasion of this exhibition, Marina Vinyes Albes organized a special evening on July 1, 2014 entitled "Becoming in the Moment, the Time of the Gesture" where 6 Screen Tests by Andy Warhol, 5 Cinématons by Gérard Courant and Galaxie by Gregory Markopoulos were screened.

Maxime Jean-Baptiste continues the research he started in "Nou Voix" (2018) concerning colonial memory, the Guyanese diaspora, and the staging of Black bodies. By questioning how “official” narratives are constructed, the film "Moune Ô" encourages a shift in perspective regarding the link between colonisation and extractivism.

Theo (Théo Deliyannis) made three consecutive trips to the island of Syros in Greece, where part of his family had lived. He knew the island well, but everything was changing there, and so he decided to record, in the form of fragments, the small impressions of his daily life, of what he did, saw, smelt and touched there. From the weather to the cats waiting outside his door, from the crumbling rock to the food that goes down the drain, everything is carefully transcribed. Little by little, Théo sinks into the island...
