The film tells the story of two people who fall into the same ordeal. Someone shoots them, but does not kill them. Due to this strange fact, one of them becomes the object of persecution by law enforcement agencies, flees the city in fear, begins to act rashly and eventually commits a very serious crime. A lonely 40-year-old schoolteacher takes up with the wife of a soon-to-be-released convict. A compassionate tragicomedy commenting on relationships and the profound emotional responsibilities they trigger.

Keti (36) and her son Nika (16) find themselves in a precarious situation when Nika hits an old man in a car accident. The victim’s family promises to refrain from pressing charges against Nika if he compensates their loss in cash. Within a single day Keti has to raise a large amount of money to prevent her son Nika from being imprisoned. An unexpected turn gives the drama a tragicomical air.

The old peasant Minago Iremadze and his wife miss their children who live in the city. The older brother married a city girl, the younger studies there. Minago decides to bring them back home. He goes to the city and tells everything to his sons. The brothers understand their dad well but cannot abandon the city life.
