Rex the dinosaur, whose father is the king of dinosaurs is snatched and transported to the 21st century in a time machine, and must team up with a motely crew in an attempt to find his way home, 65 million years back in time.

Hope Movasi is a creative 12 years living in Newtopia, a retro-futuristic city run by Mayor Mann. Hope fully adopts the spirit of her times and has a talent for all things mechanical. She even did customize a Bot, Will, becoming inseparable best friends. Sent to a summer camp to get training for a role in Newtopia, she befriends other children : Ivy, Rudy and Fudge. The kids accidentally stumble upon a terrifying truth: Replazoids (look alike robots) are about to secretly replace humans. Hunted by the authorities and on a mission to expose the truth, the kids will have to join a rebellious group named “The Defects”. But is everyone sure of who they truly are? Are robots already out there?
