A story about three brothers, Petar, Angel and Vasil, each one joins the fight against fascism in his own way.

The film tells the story of a young village girl who leaves home for a factory during World War II, lured by promises of easy money and a good life. Soon after arriving at the factory, however, she realizes that all the promises were lies, but Danka will not give in to discouragement. After the liberation of Bulgaria by the Soviet Army, she happily went to work with the other workers in the factory, which now belonged to the people.

Labakan is a lazy tailor's journeyman dreaming of a life of luxury and dresses himself in fancy clothes for the rich emir, and when he sees how respectfully people greet him in the marketplace, he seizes the opportunity that unexpectedly presents itself. For he meets the Sultan's son Omar, who was brought up by the noble Cairo Pasha and is now returning home. Labakan steals the Sultan's dagger, his trademark, and sets out to find him. However, the Sultan's wife recognizes her true son and forces the Sultan to put both men to the test. Both have to prove their skill by sewing a coronation gown, which of course only the real tailor Labakan will be able to do, and so the executioner awaits him. Fortunately, it was all a dream and the foolish young man will make amends in time.

At the seafront garden, the members of The Worker's Youth Union and the members of fascist organization are fighting. Absorbed in their feelings Vladko and Aneto have nothing to do with those events. Things at Aneto's big wealthy home look very different from Vladko's small house huddled in the yard. Kiril, Vladko's elder brother, is anxious about Vladko who should have been at the rally, but is writing poetry instead. Aneto and Vladko are happily dancing at the school-leavers' ball. Kiril has killed a German officer. The ball breaks out. Aneto has disappeared in the confusion. Vladko goes to look after her. A group of people armed with clubs and knuckle-dusters beat him cruelly because he is Kiril's brother. Kiril has joined the partisans. Vladko is seriously ill and dies. Kiril and his comrades continue the struggle.

A movie drama telling the story of the crew of a Bulgarian cruiser in the historic year of 1918. The crew of the cruiser, sent to Sevastopol for a planned intervention against Russia, learned the true purpose of the campaign and the fact that the war was over. The sailors refused to obey the commander. The communist Boyan Milev took command. According to the wishes of all the sailors, the cruiser should sail back to Bulgaria the next morning. However, among the sailors there is a traitor who helped the arrested captain to get free and damaged the ship's equipment, so the "Nadezhda" will not be able to sail the next day. The rebels are taken to Bulgaria, where they will be brought to justice.
