The year is 1945. The final battle for Vienna has begun. Hitler declares the capital of the "Ostmark", as Austria was called then, a stand-off of the Third Reich against the Red Army; a last attempt to turn the tables yet. A group of Austrian resistance fighters recognize the impossibility and enable the Russians to occupy the city - this action was known as the "Radetzky Operation" - and with it Vienna was saved from complete destruction by the Allies. The operation was headed by Carl Szokoll.

This film is an adaptation of an ancient Japanese No play. Four card-players and one is playing for his life. However, he is unaware that he is only a puppet, as the winner has already been chosen. In the game and in life.

The Big Jump is an adventurous journey into the world of ski flying and this high-tech sport is shown in spectacular 3D.

A project begun by an Austrian in Canada - the management of an extensive forest area in Algoma, northern Ontario, aimed at the regeneration of the northern biotope - represents a contribution to the protection of the Canadian wilderness.

Rhythm and Blues, the expanse of the landscape and a station wagon with longhorns on the front combine to make a homage to classic road movies.
