The main character was a standout high school student and graduated university at the highest level. When he reached his 30-s he has found himself a failure: his wife left him for a successful boxer, he got fired from a misearable job, and a morgage that he had to keep up paying off for years ahead. At the most desperate moment the character finds out that that his cunning classmate (Danila Kozlovsky) has become a prosperous businessman and announced a competition for high school students with the prize fund of over a million or rubbles. The main character looks a lot younger than he is, he even gets asked if he is of age when buying alcholol. He gets rid of his beard, fakes his DOB in ID and decides to take a chance in the competition assured that expirience can take over youth.

Three years after emigrating to the US, now with foreign agent status, I return to the stage, trying to make sense of this new reality and reflect on what's happening around me. The show was filmed in May 2025 by Alina Pyazok.

This is part of the program that Poperechny presents in St. Petersburg as part of tour with Ruslan Usachev. The video is made up of different pieces and some moments were not included in it (for example, the beginning of the stand-up, its middle and jokes).

I dedicated the performance and the ending with the “last cigarette“ to my grandfather, who passed away that year. More than 8 years later and pretty much all I remember from this show are the dancing nuns and the story about tape on my ass. The name came from two things: 1) it referenced the word I'd often say at confession so I'd have something to ask God's forgiveness for; 2) we thought it was hilarious to film promos and read reviews from people who went to a standup show with that name.

One of the most important shows for me, filmed over 3 consecutive days in St. Petersburg on a round stage. During the “SPECIAL for KIDS“ tour, I had this strange feeling that it would be my last tour. Who knew back then that my intuition was hinting specifically at tours in Russia

“I wanted to record a special somewhere I'd never performed before - where the audience didn't know me, and I didn't know them.“ That was the official version of why we were filming in Vladivostok. The truth is, the special was actually filmed in Moscow at Vegas City Hall, but the footage turned out so bad we had to reshoot the whole thing.
