The film is set in the span of eight hours in the region of downtown Cairo, exploring the variety of characters present in the busy town, and several problems they face in their daily lives, in addition to the economical crisis the whole country is facing.

The film depicts different group of characters who are held up by a traffic sign. A romantic love story grows between Re'u (Mohamed Fuad), the football fan and Samia (Laila Alawi), the nurse who loves to sing. And Naeamat who's having a baby and wants to go to the hospital with her husband.

The play deals with the life of a young Saidi called (Fares), who was sent by his father to complete his education in Cairo, but returned without completing his studies, then (Fares) falls in love with a girl who works with him in the Mawlid.

The play tells the story of four siblings trying to stop their father from leaving his family for another woman after one of them accidentally finds a love letter from an unknown woman to their father.

A comedy about a poor man named Zawaoui who lives with his wife Bahija and his brothers in a small villa he inherited from his family and tries to buy from him but refuses because he wants to preserve his family's inheritance. A businessman who wants to buy the villa will attack the villa but fails to grab. On them, where the brothers Zouaoui revenge from Fawzi to protect their brother.

The events of the play take place in a lyrical and comic form in a local neighborhood where Ramzi lives. He is writing a play and trying to present it to the people of the neighborhood, but Officer Sherif removes the advertisement for the play.
