Dan Freilich (30), a handsome and dozy nerd, was sure that his life were all planned out for the next 50 years. pretty soon he was also supposed to get married, to his high school sweetheart. That's all you need, isn't it? Apparently not.

Forty-eight years have passed since The Sixteenth Sheep (HaKeves HaShisha Asar) first came into the world, a one-of-a-kind creation born from the extraordinary collaboration between Yehonatan Geffen, who wrote the lyrics, and Yoni Rechter, who composed the music. They were joined by Gidi Gov, Yehudit Ravitz, and David Broza. Over the years, the album became a landmark of Israeli culture, with its songs and melodies passed down as an emotional inheritance from parents to children and grandchildren. The Sixteenth Sheep: The Reunion follows the preparations for the historic reunion concert, which took place during the turbulent days we all experienced, the performance itself, and above all, the overwhelming emotion it inspires in audiences.

In the easy-going, sexually-liberated 1970's Tel Aviv, three young friends, struggling filmmaker Nati, his impressionable girlfriend Ossi and his geeky friend Mushon, move in together in a small apartment in Dizengoff Street number 99. By day, they work a boring desk office job but by night the city is their playground. Their overall goal is to make their way into the commercial movie making business, but harsh realities and romances often sidetrack them. Their fourth friend and Nati's older other girlfriend is aspiring musician, Miri.

The movie, set in the Israeli 1969 War of Attrition, tells the story of a prestigious military band, and the tensions and ego crises new band members cause when joining the band. Will the band survive?

The film takes place in 1973 during the Yom Kippur War in which Egypt and Syria launched attacks in Sinai and the Golan Heights. The story is told from the perspective of Israeli soldiers. We are led by Weinraub and his friend Ruso on a day that begins with quiet city streets, but ends with death, destruction and devastation of both body and mind. Various scenes are awash in the surreal, as Weinraub's head hangs out over a rescue helicopter's open door, watching with tranquil desperation as the earth passes beneath, the overpowering whir of the blades creating a hypnotic state. It is not a traditional blood, guts and glory film. There are no men in battle, only the rescue crew trying to pick up the broken pieces.

In the summer of 1990, six years after the first and successful reunion of Kaveret, the band members reunited for another concert tour under the title "Kaveret Returns". The film "Kaveret - Photos from the Life of a Band", released in 1992, documented this concert tour held in Yehoshua Gardens Park in Tel Aviv, in Caesarea Amphitheater, in Arad and in Eilat. The late director Zvi Shissel accompanied the members of the band on their journey across the country, heard stories and memories from them from the beginning of the journey and documented Kaveret on stage and behind the scenes.

Not everyone is born to be a soldier. Not even in Israel, where universal conscription is the tradition. This movie is about a Sad Sack in the Israeli army, incompetent to complete training and yet incompetent to extricate himself.

Yoni, an Israeli pop singer, and Walid, a Palestinian Arab professor, raise money from a German source in order to build a Palestinian college within Israel. But both are trapped in a deadly struggle: Palestinian radicals attempt to use Yoni and Walid to purchase arms, while the Israeli secret police try use them to locate Arab extremists.

Not the sort of film we usually see coming from Israel, this teen horror-comedy is a loving tribute to American films of the 80s. Mili and Noam are high-school students who intend to celebrate their six-month anniversary by losing their virginity. What begins as an innocent pedal boat ride full of raging hormones, becomes a struggle against monstrous cats out for blood. This self-parodying low, low budget, independently produced feature is filled with surprises as well as hilarious oddball charm.

This documentary examines the DNA of Nesher’s cinematic creations , which include musicals, dramas, and comedies, chronicling the homeland in which he started his career at the age of 24 and where he continues to create at 71.

The film documents Kaveret's 1998 reunion called 'Kaveret In The Park' (Kaveret BaPark), including interviews with the band members and the rehearsals.
