In this episode of the crime miniseries, Jan Kanyza, playing Major Bohuslav, investigates three murders that initially appear to be unrelated... Captain Mazancová rejoins the investigation team. The dead man, found in his apartment, was Hes, a blind drug dealer who once caused the death of a young girl. Her mother, Mrs. Arnoštová, is currently serving a prison sentence for taking revenge on him and causing his blindness. The second corpse is discovered by detectives literally in pieces, with parts of the body wrapped in plastic found in the river and elsewhere, and it takes a long time to identify the dead man.

The loose series of detective stories featuring Jan Kanyza as Major Bohuslav continues with another story. As the title suggests, it is once again about murder, but not of an ordinary domestic animal, but of "two-legged cats": models, photographic models, and above all unsuccessful high school students, girls who are extremely charming but also unhappy, superficial, and egotistical, who only want to gain and take in life, whether it be love, prosperity, or money. With her frivolous and cynical approach to life, she managed to make many enemies, which ultimately proved fatal for her.

Several retired women have been attacked in their apartments by an unknown man. None of them have been raped or killed yet, but the perpetrator's brutality is increasing with each case. The attacks always occur at the same time, on Thursday afternoons. The violence is followed by robbery, with money and jewelry disappearing. At the intercession of a former colleague, Major Bohuslav, who has been temporarily reassigned to the police archives because he has recently been dealing with his difficult family problems with alcohol, is put in charge of the case. Bohuslav sees this case as his last chance. He successfully solves the complicated web of family and "business" relationships, in which, as it initially appears, the murder was committed by a man who was recently buried, in cooperation with Captain Mazancová.

In 13th-century Bohemia, King Přemysl Otakar II sends his Bezděz castle steward Oldřich of Chlum north to broker a peace-marriage between the feuding Dubé and Vartemberk houses, only for him and his men to stumble on a murdered merchant’s trail. At the celebratory feast meant to seal the alliance, the Vartemberk castellan is killed and suspicion falls on a humble lutenist whose fiancée the victim had tried to violate, plunging Oldřich into a dangerous game of courtly intrigue.

The young poet Frederik confides in his shadow about his love for Princess Claudia. After all, who could be a more loyal and discreet friend? Frederik trusts his shadow implicitly, so one day he asks it to visit the castle in his place and see how the princess is doing. But the shadow also falls in love with Claudia, and from that moment on, he is obsessed with the idea of taking everything away from the poet. He already has his voice, he has stolen his verses, and even his appearance! All he needs to do now is take away his beloved girl. He almost succeeds.

At the beginning was the Slovak television series Lekár umierajúceho czasu (Doctor of Dying Time), dedicated to the Rudolphine-era scientist Jan Jesenius. He ended up on the scaffold along with other gentlemen after losing the anti-Habsburg uprising. When director Miloslav Luther conceived the idea of making an abridged version of the footage for cinema, he had to not only rebuild the storyline but also dub it into Czech. However, the result was only an illustrative puzzle, describing the various stages of the hero's turbulent life.

The inventor and owner of the company "Neprasklo" (Unbreakable), Ing. Sýkora, wants to launch a revolutionary new product – unbreakable glass. However, his two greedy deputies have other plans – they eliminate Sýkora in the African waterfalls and attempt to sell the company to a foreign corporation. A mysterious man named Michael Allan Jones arrives in Prague to search for his ancestors. Specifically, he is interested in the year 1611, when a meteorite allegedly crashed near Dobruška. The search for him is helped by nice writer Marcela, who writes a short story about this topic. He thinks it wasn't a meteorite, but a UFO. With her, Michael visits several Czech locations with a mysterious past.

When he didn't want her, a stick or a charmer was used, in more serious cases the love stone helped. When he wanted her too much, an extract of wormwood, comfrey and anise, slightly sharpened with brandy, was slipped to the young man. The marriage recipes were simple at first glance and apparently very effective, judging by the punishments of those who secretly engaged in witchcraft alchemy. Even three hundred years ago, association with unclean forces and possession by the devil meant being sent to the stockade or sentenced to death by burning. This was exactly the fate that befell Magdalena, the parish cook, and Marta, the widow of a wigmaker. As witches, they were condemned to have their souls wander forever without consolation. Three hundred and thirteen years later, Magdalene and Martina's souls managed to "incarnate" into the bodies of two modern women.

A young woman named Alena discovers her fiancé Pavel's repeated infidelity. After meeting with her former married boyfriend, she loses control of her car and crashes. The film thematically follows the stories of the TV series "30 cases of Major Zeman". We can meet Major Zeman again with Lieutenant Colonel Zitny, Major Hradec and Lieutenant Gajdoš. The film is set in 1972 in a South American country and shows the activities of an international counter-revolutionary headquarters, which the central character of the film - Major Hradec - uncovers even at the cost of his own life. The film was largely shot in Cuba. The film is an edited version of the series episodes 27 and 28 "Messages from an Unknown Land" and "Hostages in Bella Vista".

This fairy tale tells of a magical hen who lays golden eggs. When an enterprising taxi driver (greedy, of course) learns of such a miracle, he immediately realizes that he could easily and effortlessly get rich if he could get such a hen...

The plot begins in the Soviet Union showing first efforts to establish the Czechoslovak legion in 1942. The film also shows the assassination of Heydrich and the subsequent annihilation of Lidice. The main topis of the film is battles with German troops for Sokolovo.

Chytilová was not allowed to direct films between 1969 and 1976. The sole exception was the made-for-TV film Kamarádi, now virtually unknown.

The Himalayan mountain Makalu, located in Nepal, is the fifth highest mountain in the world. In the advanced camp, without Kaščák's knowledge, he gives up his place to the ambitious Karol. However, due to fatigue and lack of oxygen, Milan falls down a snowy slope and injures his head and spine. He can‘t be transported down.

The seat position shows that she cannot have been driving, and the dissection proves that she had died about four hours after the accident. It is for sure that a timely medical assistance could have saved her life. A pretty young tennis player Lucie lived at her grandmother, because her parents had been working abroad. Criminalists found out that the girl was going out with the interpreter Valenta (Eduard Cupák), who was twenty years older than her, divorced and a bit egoistic man.

Tóna Bohácek has been a great worry to his mother, Mrs Bohácková. All his friends equal in age are already married and some of them even have children - only Tóna still has nothing. Mother Bohácková thus publishes an ad in the Lonely Hearts column on behalf of her son. From among the girls who responded, she picks out Janicka, a girl from the neighboring village, and then forces Tóna to go to have a look at her and bring her home. The date of the two young people, however, does not turn out well due to the embarrassment on both sides, and Tóna returns home drowning in the feeling of ridiculousness. On the way, he picks up hitchhiker Kveta from Prague. Only then, he realizes that the mother with her festive dinner is waiting for him and Janicka at home and thus asks Kveta to substitute for the girl from the ad.
