Noël Alpi

A kid on a bike on a country road. It's Lionel, the Legrands' adopted son. Later the same teenager, helmet and yellow leather jacket on a motorcycle, a gift from his mother Colette. In the meantime, there will have been handball matches, the installation of windmills, visits to the construction site with the German engineer, Colette's madness, the gossip of the workers at the factory, the ardor of the young Lucie. And for all of them, leaning against this lavender countryside as far as the eye can see, the search for an elsewhere that is either appropriate or inaccessible.

A handsome 17-year-old who is actually only 14, Lionel is an adopted child living in a rural area. While his father sees him as deficient, even retarded, his mother surrounds him with immense, symbiotic, and protective love. Initially fascinated by the boy's charm, Claire, a young engineer from the neighboring construction site, helps him pursue a budding passion. But by not respecting the limits she has set for him, Lionel finds himself caught in a trap that closes in on him.

Fresh landed from his province and immersed in the prestige of his kinship with Dorval, writer in vogue, Stéphane moved to Paris.
