The anticipation of love, the realization of beauty, a bright flash of feelings and experiences, the world of beauty and sounds, goodness and light caused in his soul a meeting with beauty in the image of a ballerina. Love allowed the hero to rise above himself, above his deafness, above his dumb, gray world. Hence the associations: wings, flight, a new, bright, unreal world.

A military drama about the fate of yesterday's schoolboy, a modest young man from a remote Yakut village, who became a fearless Soviet warrior in the year of trials. Not having time to experience the joys of family life with a young wife, the hero says goodbye to her and goes to the front. The film highlights the heroic fate of the Yakut soldiers during the Great Patriotic War, based on the true events that took place on Lake Ilmen in the Novgorod region, and the equally tragic fate of those who remained in the rear - Churapchinsky immigrants who were forced to leave their native places.

An irresistible desire for a card game turned out to be the lot of a poor man, a father of two children. Every time, he grits his teeth and tells himself: I won't play, I won't play… But the excitement turns out to be stronger than remorse and guilt in front of his wife and hungry children. "It's obvious that my fate is like this and I can't get away from it," he justifies himself to himself and ... loses his last bull.
