New passions. New fashions. New Emily? A plucky American marketing whiz spreads her wings in life and love after landing her dream job in Paris.

Salut les Terriens! is a French talk show hosted by Thierry Ardisson, launched on Canal+ on November 4, 2006, and then moved to C8 on September 10, 2016. The show subsequently changed its name and format in 2018 to become Les Terriens du Samedi! (The Earthlings of Saturday!). Initially conceived as a humorous take on current events with several guests and various games and segments, it later evolved into a more structured format with panel discussions and regular segments. In 2018, Thierry Ardisson sought to revamp the concept, believing the previous version had run its course, hence the transition to Les Terriens du samedi! with a new set and new segments, and a 360-degree turn in the ideology of the guests.

Vernon Subutex, the unemployed former owner of legendary record shop Revolver, is evicted from his apartment. In his search for a place to stay, Vernon contacts his former friends who were involved in the music world with him in the 1990s.

In the aftermath of her tumultuous relationship with a charismatic and manipulative older man, Julie begins to untangle her fraught love for him in making her graduation film, sorting fact from his elaborately constructed fiction.

42 members of the trans and non-binary communities share their stories and explain why, no matter what the current media narratives or political climate, they won’t be erased.

This film takes a closer look at the lives of seventeen transgender individuals and allows them to tell their stories in their own words.
