She worked with the world’s greatest actors and directors: Buñuel, Mastroianni, Lellouche, Depardieu... The film guides us throughout her career with the filmmakers with whom she invented herself not to be a “cold blonde actress”, thanks to great interviews of many artists who crossed her path.

A journey through the artistic life of the British-American rock band The Pretenders, formed in 1978, and a portrait of its leader, the charismatic singer and songwriter Chrissie Hynde.

West Germany, 1978. The publication of a harrowing book chronicling the miserable lives of young drug addicts living and dying in train stations and public toilets across the country causes a brutal social shock: the story of Christiane F., a thirteen-year-old girl who prostitutes herself to buy heroin, and the children at the Berlin Zoo station.

Toni Morrison (1931-2019), first black woman writer being awarded the Nobel Prize of Literature, was a critic, a book editor, a college professor, and a creative author of novels, poems and essays. She claimed the invention of a black writing and brought the light on what had kept silenced since the days of the birth of the United States of America as an independent nation: the black people history.

She became famous at a very young age and gradually slipped away, cultivating her legend and her mystery. Kate Bush, pioneering artist, is at the heart of a captivating documentary broadcast on Arte.

Revealing the flaws of Japanese society, the 1995 sarin gas attack in the Tokyo subway prompted Murakami to return to his homeland, whose conformism he rejected, to examine it closely. This led to the creation of two works: Underground and 1Q84.

Naoshima is a small Japanese island in the Seto inland sea hosting a fascinating contemporary art sponsoring project since the 90s. Urged by a businessman, museums and outdoor installations have grown in number on Naoshima, which was until then only populated by fishermen, farmers and workers, and affected by the post-industrial exodus, a decline in population and its local economy. NAOSHIMA (DREAM ON THE TONGUE) is the exploration of this island, as a place for unexpected exchange between contemporary art, traditions, and everyday life.
