Summer 2002 - Paris Plage. Like a moving desert that causes mirages or like the legend that says love can be found where the sky touches the sand, by some simple coincidence a miracle occurs: the sand brings Elisa, a strange, fresh, mysterious beauty.

A school teacher falls in love with a stripper/singer. He even leaves his wife and children for her. He soon spends a lot of time at the club where he works part-time as the M.C.. But the owner, a mobster, interferes in the relationship which brings fear and violence into the game.

Canada, 1911. Narrated by a vulture, the story of Jesuit Joe, a mixed-race who belongs to a rebel Indian family, which have pay a lot for the defense of their territory. After having striped a policeman of his uniform, Jesuit Joe cross the Far North to give justice.
