This farce cocerns Sweden's King Gustav (Per Oscarsson who plays all the lead roles). The royal monarchs of three major European countries are patiently or not-so-patiently hovering on the sidelines while watching the future King Gustav closely. No single king appears to possess the brains he was born with, so history seems to be made by default, as it were. Gustav does blunder around, but not enough to miss being crowned king. As a result, France, England, and Germany invade Sweden hoping to take by force what they could not gain by incompetence.

A man and a woman are cheated on by their respective partners and decide to get their revenge.

Ronia lives happily in her father's castle until she comes across a new playmate, Birk, in the nearby dark forest. The two explore the wilderness, braving dangerous Witchbirds and Rump-Gnomes. Lasse Brenner is a serious filmmaker (spoof on Ingmar Bergman) who is forced to direct a lighthearted comedy. The filming takes place in different cities across Europe and North Africa so Brenner and the crew have to sail on a cruse ship. Brenner's wife suspects he has an affair with the lead actress, so she also boards the ship undercover to keep an eye on him.

Fabian Bom has been sent by the Export Association to promote Swedish export to Spain. He travels with the navy's cruiser to Barcelona, but his jealous fiancée Gullan has followed him in secret to keep an eye on him. In Barcelona the usually strict and virtuous Bom is surrounded by the local women and has a ball. He meets the young and zestful Linnea from Sweden. Plot by Mattias Thuresson.

Privates 91 and 87 once again end up in goofy predicaments when an important map belonging to the regiment goes missing.

Fabian Bom, auctionist in a small town, one day finds a baby boy in a small crib that is for sale at an auction. He places the boy at an orphanage but returns the next day since he realizes that he misses the boy. Since a single man is not permitted to adopt a baby he arranges a marriage with a young woman, who really is the baby's mother.

Country bailiff believes that a man of the people shall exercise police work. Åsa-Nisse appointed to the local police for some time. "Nesses" sometimes odd methods will still work somehow. Åsa-Nisse and Klabbarparn then visit Gothenburg to see the singer Gun from Knohult at Liseberg. There they also take a tour of the roller-coaster.

Music film with the band Sven-Ingvars. The band plays travelling musicians from 19th century Värmland, who are commissioned to save an earl's daughter, who has been kidnapped by an evil and music-hating officer. The band travels to USA and the dangerous town of Desperado City. Here they meet Indians and bandits, look for gold and take part in a bar brawl.

Charged by their infatuation of the regiment's maid Elvira, friends and rivals Mandel and Axelsson arrive for military duty, whereupon silly things happen in and around a mansion that is rumored to be haunted.

The porter of the hotel is trying to keep his sanity when two guests who share both looks and name check in. He's also unaware that his new bell boy is actually the owner's daughter in disguise.

The local newspaper celebrates 50 years and are now looking for a citizen who has lived as long in the neighborhood. Our hero Åsa-Nisse seems to fit the profile.
