"Ghost on Holiday" - Stockholm 1950 is experiencing a gold rush, after the discovery of gold during the building of the new underground. Assistant Borgkrona (Järrell) owns a plot in the gold area. The lawyer Målbrott informs Borgkrona that he has inherited a haunted castle and must stay there for a fortnight. Based on the play by August Strindberg, Miss Julie vividly depicts the battle of the sexes and classes that ensues when Julie, a wealthy businessman's daughter, falls for Jean, her father's bitter servant.

An artist with drinking problems is depressed because his career didn't turn out so good. He puts his faith in his daughter to carry the artistic heritage further.

The soul of an evil witch about to be burned is transferred to the child of a pregnant woman in the audience. 19 years later a timid girl arrives at a farm looking for work.
