Professor Frederick Shaffer believed that the people of Ugarit, a town in Syria that existed during the Pharoah’s reign, had buried a treasure before they were wiped out by the Pharoahs. Jack Hunter is one of the few archaeologists in the world who can interpret Ugarit writings

Adventurer Jack Hunter sets off in pursuit of a legendary tomb, meeting dangerous old adversaries, and even more dangerous old flames, along the way.

The images reflected on the screen come from a camera that Namik is carrying, a camera that is forgotten. The young man running in a hospital corridor is looking for his wife Nurcan, a nurse. He finds her and takes the trigger of his gun. Then he decides on his own life and all this is recorded in the camera.

Chaos erupts when members of two notorious Istanbul mobs arrive at a seaside town for family vacations.

Luxury Hotel brings together four stories of hopelessness in the same hotel. Mehdi, who left behind a terrorist organization to pursue a new life; an Afghan family fleeing the Taliban; a young gay couple hoping to live their lives as they wish in the Istanbul of their dreams; and a young girl trapped in drug addiction. What begins as a stop filled with hope for them, this "Luxury Hotel," eventually becomes a limbo where they are trapped. No matter how much they flee, they may never truly escape their otherness. Yet they remain silent; we rarely hear them speak or react. There is a weariness over them, but it is clear they are screaming for help. Still, to hear their voices, perhaps we first need foresight.
