A cold case turns topical again and turns everything upside down, intertwining the lives of several people.

To end an apocalyptic war and save her daughter, a reluctant soldier embarks on a desperate mission to cross a frozen sea carrying a top-secret cargo.

When a fostered teenage rebel suspects that her father is not dead but in fact kidnapped by UFOs, she takes help from a UFO association to discover the truth. Together, they embark on a risky adventure that takes them far beyond the laws borders and into a world filled with unidentified flying expeditions, conspiracies and inexplicable phenomena.

Anna, a young and naive woman, moves to Knutby to become part of the free church congregation as a nanny, which to her seems like a warm and pious community. But soon the idyll that never existed crackles, and manipulation, power games, social exclusion, group pressure, brainwashing, fanaticism and both more and less religiously sanctioned left-wing chatter end in murder and grief.

When Gabriel moves to a housing project in Södertälje, he meets Marko, who is the king of the errand boys. Marko takes Gabriel under his wing and a friendship soon develops before Gabriel realises how dangerous it is. When a spectacular mistake is made, anger is created higher up in the criminal hierarchy. Taelgia tells the story of families, police and criminals caught in a crossfire of loyalties, demands and guilt in the same neighbourhood.
