Jeanne wakes up one morning and her life is about to take a funny turn, at first sight nothing has changed in her - to a small detail.

Louise de Pileggi, a brilliant assistant district attorney, has always had a complicated relationship with her mother, Judith, whom she hasn’t seen in 15 years. When she is transferred to the small courthouse where Judith works as a court clerk, Louise becomes her mother’s boss. And worse still: they will have to work together on a case that seems trivial at first glance, but which will put their nerves on edge.

For over 30 years, Cora has woken up every morning at 4am to go work at the factory and raise her daughter, Alex, gone to Paris, much to Cora’s regret, to try and become a filmmaker. In an employment office undergoing restructuring, Hélène, the deputy director, receives an alarming e-mail from a desperate unemployed woman. The woman threatens to kill herself on the premises of the agency. With the help of her team, Hélène tries to untangle the internal dysfunctions at the origin of the case in order to prevent the irreparable. Time is running out.

Daphne isn’t sure about introducing her boyfriend Karim, to her parents. One day he surprises her by hiding in the boot of her car when she goes to visit her family.
