Detectives Grijpstra and De Gier are sent to investigate the case of a man who apparently hanged himself in a center for oriental meditation. It is ruled as suicide and the case seems to be closed, but the same night there is an attempted break in. The investigation hits a dead end and everyone involved is a suspect. After being released from prison a career criminal wants to start a new life. To finance this new life he decides to rob a small-town bank during a funfair. Meanwhile, he's trying to get rid of a women who can tie him to a previous crime.

In a meanwhile, two assistents of professor Ludwig von Cleve found where the other Pinkels live and kidnapped some important Pinkels. Professor Ludwig von Cleve puts them in a doll house to expreiment on them. Dick Laan, Pinkeltje and Pinkelotje made up a tricky plan to rescue the captured Pinkels.

Hein Slotter, unpopular director of a pram factory, reluctantly agrees to celebrate his 25th anniversary. His only wish is that his successor and mentor, Slieps, gives a speech. Unfortunately Slieps is quite senile and only occasionally has a bright moment. Meanwhile, the party committee learns of a rumor concerning Slotter's younger days and plans to embarrass him during this festive occasion.

The fainthearted cigar trader Ducker keeps himself quiet during World War II. That changes when parachutist Dorbeck lands in his backyard. It turns out the parachutist bears a remarkable resemblance to Ducker. Ducker follows Dorbeck blindly, becomes involved in the Dutch resistance and soon starts killing people. When he escapes through German lines to the freed South Netherlands, no one has ever heard of Dorbeck.

The film is set in a signalman's house during the German occupation. When it turns out that the mother has committed adultery with a German, things start to go downhill for the father. Germans take over his land, and his children fend for themselves.

What they find, gives them little hope, for the lithe young idealist of Yuris' dreams has become middle-aged and cynical.

A veterinarian lives together with his sister and her son in a small village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. He has to cope with gossip and distrust from the villagers.

When the police picks up a suspicious man carrying a knife, he appears to be suffering from amnesia. They send him to a special hospital to put him under observation. Tim calls his wife to tell her "he'll be a little late," while Bodde keeps persuading him to stay with him for a new deal or a wonderful plan, and so they roam the country. Along the way, they swindle money from everyone and meet the young, beautiful Aafke. Isn't Tim too old for all this?
