After a bitter disappointment in love, the beautiful Lucia decides to take back her life and let herself go to some adventures. Two friends, however, end up falling in love with her.

Nunzio and Paolo have always been friends but their partnership has only produced a series of failed businesses financed by their wives, who are now threatening to throw them out of the house. The two seek redemption by opening a vegetarian restaurant until, to please a food critic on whom their destinies depend, they find themselves faced with the need to transform the place into a steakhouse.
