The film is based on the classic circus reprises of the famous mime Leonid Yengibarov. The game plot follows the twists and turns of the protagonist's inner state, which becomes a creative impetus for creating and performing the reprises.

The film concert is composed of a number of opera arias, excerpts from ballets and solo numbers.

After graduating from the institute, one of the two friends of different profiles, Levon, will go to work in the distant mines, and the incumbent Karlen takes the chair of the head, but this does not bring him happiness.
