A Soviet cargo ship carrying medical opium gets attacked by pirates of an unknown nationality. The crew is left to die on a sinking ship but they manage to escape and now must fight the pirates for survival.

In July 1942, in the Second World War, the rearguard of the Russian army protects the bridgehead of the Don River against the German army while the retreating Russian troops cross the bridge. While they move back to the Russian territory through the countryside, the soldiers show their companionship, sentiments, fears and heroism to defend their motherland.

They decided to arrange a test for the new student: she must spend an hour in a "haunted house." The ghost turns out to be a big black dog.

A top American spy is in charge of a delicate mission. The USA plans to infiltrate several U-boats in the sea of Vladivostok, however they need the soviet surveillance satellite to stay 'blind' for a couple of hours, so this spy is sent to damage the antenna for the satellite. Based on the short story by Leonid Andreev "Ivan Ivanovich". A Perestroika look at the events that took place after the 1905 Revolution. The young defender of the barricades shows weakness and releases the captured gendarme. After a while, he is not spared in a similar situation.

Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Lukyanov, is going on vacation with his wife to a resort town, where his old friend, Major Alekseev, a local police officer, lives. When they meet, the old friends agree to catch up the next day, but Alekseev seems worried about something he needs to finish. That night, Alekseev goes on a mission alone, during which he is hit by a car. When Lukyanov hears about it, he offers his help to the local police as a private individual, feeling it is his duty to find out the circumstances of his friend's death. The colonel will have to determine whether it was a deliberate murder or an accident.
