Adjeng lives alone in an apartment paid for by her boyfriend, a rich businessman. A writer of children's stories, she wishes to write short stories for adults; in this, she is mentored by Asmoro with whom she is also having sex. Meanwhile, Adjeng's mothe handles various aspects of her life, constantly calling her and making surprise visits. This has led Adjeng's friends, Venny and Andien, to tease her about her overbearing mother.

Cia marries Dono, a university administration employee. Cia marries him to soothe her heartbreak when her father marries her best friend, Lies. But when they go to Dono’s hometown for their honeymoon, they find his relatives acting mysteriously. Dono’s sister, Lastri, never speaks. Later, the same person rapes his sister. Strangely, Kromodongso does not admit to have raped Cia, although he admits to raping Dono’s mother and sister. Finally, Dono admits that he raped Cia, his own wife. He did that, as he cannot perform in a normal situation. Dono can only do what Kromodongso did to his mother. Cia is happy because Dono is truly a man.

Amat (Adadiri Tanpalang), a ten-year-old boy is an intelligent and mature boy who helps his mute father with stone carving. One day, his teacher requests him to participate in a stone carving competition. He never finishes it; instead his father does it for him. He wins but he returns the prize to the school because he felt that he doesn’t deserve it. He claims that his father is the one who finished the statue for competition for him. While his friend, Siti (Acintyaswati Widianing) is the one who sent the stone carving to the competition.
