In Moscow in 1919 there are still anarchist organizations, whose actions are clearly anti-Soviet in nature. The Chekists have to expose their activities. The case is entrusted to three newly conscripted Komsomol comrades.

The head of the field hospital, Stupakov, has lost his wife. He devotes all his love exclusively to his daughter Vera, who works as a nurse in the same hospital. However, Stupakov’s love is selfish. Ignoring Vera's feelings, he tries to separate her from the man she loves. But Vera, defying everything, leaves for the active military unit...

The film is about the youth who joined the ranks of the Komsomol in the early 1920s. The protagonists of the film are residents of a small town in southern Russia.

The action takes place during the years of the Civil War in the Urals. It is difficult for the young woman Nadia Korneeva to make sense of the events unfolding around her. Having endured much grief and gone through numerous trials, she decides to join a Red Guard unit.

Based on the play of the same name by Ion Druta. The play tells the story of the villagers Calin Ababia, whose hard life was spent in a Moldovan village, and Mihai Gruia, who made a brilliant career in the city.

Based on the Don stories by Mikhail Sholokhov. Soviet power was only established on the Don, and a conflict broke out in the first commune: the wife of the commune’s leader Arseniy Klyukvin, having believed the promises of the white officer, fell in love and went to live with him with the child. She doesn't want to hide her feelings, but unable to withstand the bestial attitude of a white officer, she returns back to the Bolshevik.
