Jaddanbai Hussain, known professionally as Jaddanbai, was an Indian singer, music composer, courtesan, dancer, actress, filmmaker, and one of the pioneers of Indian cinema. She was the mother of the well-known Hindi actress Nargis, and maternal grandmother of Sanjay Dutt.
