The film depicts the torture inflicted on captured Azerbaijanis by Armenians during the Karabakh War. The film is based on the story by Agarahim Rahimov.

The bullet-riddled statues of Shusha come to life, speaking and crying out in pain. Through their voices, the city’s past and present are placed face to face, revealing the scars of history and the cost of loss.
