Three colleagues and their driver decide to bathe naked in a river and find respite on a hot summer day. However, a mongrel makes their experience an unpleasant one.

The film is about a woman who experiences frightening visions after visiting an insane asylum where one of the inmates claims to be Count Dracula (here following the Hungarian spelling Drakula). She has trouble determining whether the inmate's visions are real or merely nightmares.

Benő Karácsony's best-known and most famous novel, The Sunny Side, was written in 1936. Its protagonist is Kázmér Felméri, at first a forced clerk, then a bumbling miller and talented sculptor, who, with his own unique outlook on life, lives his life in the greatest possible inner freedom among the typical characters of his small town in the typical milieu of the time.
