Sarah Thamin is an Australian actress born in Sydney. Grown up to typical immigrant Chinese parents, Sarah practiced an academic life as a teenager, attending the prestigious North Sydney Girls High School, which also birthed Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts and Nathalie Kelley. She developed her interests in art and music, particularly in playing the piano. During her 3rd year in her bachelors in physiotherapy at Sydney University, Sarah got into the top 100 of Australia's Next Top Model which started her modelling career and fascination of being in front of the camera. Quitting her full time physiotherapy job in 2014, Sarah enrolled in acting classes in Sydney and Los Angeles to pursue her career in acting and modelling. She plays a Chinese international student in the mini drama series "Dead Lucky" that comes out on SBS mid this year, alongside well-known Australian actors such as Rachel Griffiths and Matt Nable. Her role as a main lead in the short film "Rash Decisions" will be aired nation-wide, live on ABC and at this years Tropfest Australia located in Parramatta, Sydney on February 17th.
