Chuck Pfarrer is a screenwriter, novelist and former U.S. Navy SEAL who has occasionally stepped in front of the camera as an actor. His most notable acting role is Douglas Binder in the 1993 action film Hard Target, a movie he also wrote and co-produced. In the film's opening sequence, his character is a homeless combat veteran hunted through the streets of New Orleans by the story's villains.
