8.4Klovn is a Danish sitcom, which first aired on the Danish TV channel TV2 Zulu. It focuses on the life of the main character Frank and Casper. The show builds its comedy around quiet everyday situations, social awkwardness, uncomfortable silences and general faux pas. Klovn usually gets compared to the American sitcom Curb Your Enthusiasm by Larry David. It’s also shot handheld, in a pseudo-realistic style. Some have also mistakenly compared the theme to Curb Your Enthusiasm’s, despite it being a direct reference to Jacques Tati’s Mr. Hulot movies. The poster for the first film can be seen in Casper and Frank’s offices throughout the series. Klovn initially ran 6 seasons on TV2 Zulu from 2005-2009 and was renewed with an additional 3 seasons that aired from 2018-2022.

NRKOMIKER is sparkling, razor-sharp and clever entertainment from the fastest moped on the comedy scene, Lasse Rimmer. At a breakneck pace, Rimmer engages in a linguistic clinch with patties and helping hands, bad boys and psycho bitches, Frederik Fetterlein's leather jackets and racist rides, session doctors and testicle fondling, defiant older feminists with food in the corner of their mouths, and how difficult it is for parents to call a sofa a sofa. Alongside the likes of Mick Øgendahl, Jan Gintberg and Frank & Casper, Lasse Rimmer was nominated for “Comedian of the Year” at the 2012 Zulu Comedy Gala for “COMEDIAN”. Now you can see why in your own living room. You can look forward to it.

7.5Lasse Rimmer unleashes his "hobbyhorses" in a new one-man show. Lasse Rimmer has a whole stable full of hobbyhorses in his head. Topics he is passionate about. And it's time for those hobbyhorses to be aired and given an enthusiastic ride around the comedy arena. This happens in his fourth solo show, "Hobbyhorses." Can we Danes have fun without food in our mouths? Are you a bad parent if you're not generally super impressed by children? How long should a veterinarian go to prison if she sticks her whole arm up a cow... and the cow enjoys it? All the questions you've never asked are answered in "Kæpheste," plus some of the ones you actually do ask. The comic spotlight is turned on the audience when Rimmer's playful interest in Denmark and the Danes teasingly pokes fun at the audience.

NRTalegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.

NRWorlds first "Royality Comedy Event". In an unprecedented 9 hour live "piggyback" transmission, comedian quartet Casper Christensen, Frank Hvam, Lars Hjortshøj and Lasse Rimmer of Casper & Mandrilaftalen (1999) fame, marathon-hosted and satirically skewed every imaginable AND unimaginable aspect of the Royal Wedding between HRH's Frederik X and Dronning Mary, on may 14th 2004. Characters included ex-boyfriends, aboriginals, so-called experts, wine-tasters, weathermen and a slew of hilarious off-beat characters, all played by the four comedians. This event was the much anticipated follow-up to the successful pre-test-transmission Zulu Royal (2003) from the Royal Engagement, October 8, 2003.

8.0Five Danish stand-up comedians fled the country in the spring of 2003. Their escape took them through 20 Danish cities, where they performed 29 shows for more than 16,000 audience members. On Saturday, April 5, Magasinet in Odense hosted the show with Carsten Bang, Lasse Rimmer, Omar Marzouk, Mikael Wulff, and Sebastian Dørset. That same evening, the show was recorded on video. A short time later, it was released. And in just a moment, you will be able to purchase it. Then you can watch it again and again and perhaps call your friends and say, "Come and watch 'Fem På Flugt' with me," and while you wait for them to arrive, you can watch it again before you all watch it together. And afterwards, you can enjoy watching it again. Or maybe just enjoy a game of Yahtzee and a good Swedish sausage stew. It's up to you, really. Anyway, buy this show. Come on. Be nice.
