Working as a modest garbage collector and part-time theater assistant in Berlin, Ali Ekber feels betrayed by his friends. After getting his hands on a theater prop Politzei uniform, he uses it to pose as a Politzei and impress his love - waitress Babett.

In the last years of the Ottoman Empire, a poor little Anatolian town named Saripinar is hit by a minor earthquake which has neither destroyed nor left it with many casualties. However, a telegraph sent to the central government exaggerates the situation and mentions that the governor of the town has been severely wounded, making the event a nationwide matter.

The film is about the life of a gigolo. Bekir, a gigolo, is with a rich woman named Oya. One day, Oya hits a woman with her car. Bekir helps the woman who was in the accident. At the hospital, he meets Esra, the woman's roommate. A friendship develops between Bekir and Esra, who is a sex worker. They fall in love with each other. Bekir wants to build a life with Esra. For this reason, he decides to rob Oya's house with his brother. However, things will not go as Bekir planned.

The film depicts the breakdown of a family that lost all its money to one of the Islamic investment companies that are very common in Europe. Metin invested all his money in one such company, JIMPA, and even convinced his close friends and family to do the same. This company, JIMPA, which had made grand promises, goes bankrupt after collecting the money, and its managers disappear. Many people who invested their money demand accountability from Metin. Like hundreds of thousands of other families who believed in such Islamic investment companies and invested their money, Metin's family has also lost all their savings in an instant. The journey Metin embarked on to resolve the situation would confront him with realities he never anticipated. Metin’s father-in-law, the Imam, warned him. In fact, the Imam seemed to know more than he was letting on.

In 1940s Turkey, the war is recently over, but the wounds are still fresh, and the WWII is going on next door. A different family lives in each room of a mansion. They all lead a scarce life but hold on to life with hope.

Nur is a woman who suffers from bipolar depression with psychosis. While she stays in a mental institution she confronts with her life; her childhood, her parents and her marriage...Can she ever learn to love herself?

It is a comedy of stubborn people who initiate a judicial process which would last 7 years because some sheep ate a few cabbages.
